  1. What was your overall opinion of the book?
I love this book so much. It is laugh out loud funny, easy reading, and a really great rom-com.

  2. What was your favourite moment/scene in the book?
When Olivia lets the dog basically maul her on their first real date, and Colin realises she’s not the hot mess everyone thinks she is, she’s just alive and living!

  3. Which character did you like best/most identify with?
Olivia for sure. I’m not as clumsy as she is but I definitely oftentimes feel like life is getting the better of me and all the bad things come in waves. She handles it a lot better than I do, though!

  4. Did any themes or messages in the book change your perspective on anything?
I wish I approached life like Olivia did. Her mum is a nightmare and I kind of like that there was no kind of reconcile there because sometimes we just don’t need it. Olivia constantly heard her mum berating her but never let it get to her. I want to be more like that.

  5. How did the author’s writing style impact your reading experience?
I adore Lynn Painter’s writing - she is witty and knows how to write a rom-com that you can fly through in a few hours. Every single book of hers is perfect!

  6. Was this book relatable to you in any way?
Only what I mentioned before about Olivia!

  7. What is the one thing about this book you will remember, even a year from now?
Just the top-tier banter. I had to stop reading so many times because I was laughing too much!

  8. How likely would you be to recommend the book to someone else? (use a sliding scale of 1-5 if easier)
    5! 5! 5!
